Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service (“Terms”, “Terms of Service”) carefully before using the Mindi World: Online Card Game mobile application (the “Service”), operated by Kryn Studios (“we”, “us”, or “our”).

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated herein by reference. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you may not access or use the Service.

1. Eligibility and Age Requirement

Mindi World is a free-to-play trick-taking card game of skill — not a gambling or betting service — intended for a general audience. You must be at least 16 years old to access or use the Service.

• Players Under 18: If you are between 16 and 18 years of age, you may use the Service only with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian, who agrees to these Terms on your behalf.
• Under 16: The Service is not directed to, and we do not knowingly permit use by, children under 16. If we become aware that a user is under 16, we may suspend or terminate the account and delete associated data.
• Purchases: In-app purchases may only be made by a person who is 18 years or older, or by a minor with the express consent of a parent or legal guardian who authorizes the payment. By making a purchase, you confirm you meet this requirement (see Section 6).

2. Use of the Service

The Service is provided as a free-to-play card game for personal, non-commercial entertainment use only. Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, and revocable license to download, install, and use the Service on a supported mobile device.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, or reverse-engineer any part of the Service unless expressly permitted by law.

3. Accounts and Authentication

The Service may allow you to sign in using third-party authentication methods such as Google Sign-In, Sign in with Apple, or Guest Login (via Firebase Authentication).

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activities that occur under your account. We are not responsible for any loss or damage caused by unauthorized access to your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Guest Accounts and Data Loss

Guest Login lets you start playing immediately without creating a full account. A guest account is temporary and tied to your device. Guest play is provided on an “at your own risk” basis.

• Temporary by Design: Guest accounts are not designed to be recoverable. They cannot be transferred between devices and are not linked to your identity.
• Possible Loss: Guest account data — including progress, virtual currency, and items — may be permanently lost in events such as uninstalling and reinstalling the Service, signing out, clearing app data, switching or resetting your device, or where a device identifier cannot be recovered.
• Use a Sign-In Method for Durability: If you want your progress to persist, sign in with Google Sign-In or Sign in with Apple instead of using Guest Login. The choice of sign-in method is yours.
• No Liability for Guest Loss: To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for the loss of data, progress, virtual currency, or items associated with guest accounts.
• Recovery Is Not Guaranteed: Guest accounts generally cannot be identified, verified, or restored. Any recovery is at our sole discretion and is not guaranteed.

5. Virtual Currency and In-Game Items

The Service may include virtual currency (such as coins), points, entry fees, or in-game items (“Virtual Items”) that can be earned through play or, where offered, purchased.

• No Real-World Value: Virtual Items have no real-world monetary value and cannot be exchanged, redeemed, cashed out, withdrawn, or converted into real money, goods, or services.
• License Only: Virtual Items are licensed to you, not sold. You do not own Virtual Items and you have no proprietary interest in them.
• No Transfers: Virtual Items may not be transferred, traded, sold, or exchanged outside the Service.
• Entry Fees: Some game modes may require Virtual Items (such as coins) as an entry fee. Entry fees are deducted when you join a match and are generally non-refundable once a match begins.
• Modification or Removal: We reserve the right to modify, reset, devalue, or remove Virtual Items at any time without liability.

6. In-App Purchases, Billing, and Refunds

The Service may offer optional in-app purchases that allow you to buy Virtual Items using real money (“Purchases”).

• Authorization to Purchase: You may make a Purchase only if you are 18 years or older, or a minor with the express consent of a parent or legal guardian who authorizes the payment. You are responsible for all Purchases made through your account or device.
• Billing Through App Stores: All Purchases are processed by the applicable platform provider (such as the Google Play Store or Apple App Store) and are subject to that provider’s terms and payment policies. We do not store or process your payment card details.
• Purchases Are Final: Virtual Items are consumable and are delivered immediately. Except where required by applicable law, all Purchases are final and non-refundable, including for Virtual Items that have been delivered, spent, or consumed.
• Refund Requests: Refund requests are handled by the platform provider in accordance with its refund policy. We do not control and are not responsible for the platform provider’s refund decisions.
• Sign-In Required to Purchase: Purchases are not available to guest users. To make a Purchase, you must be signed in with Google Sign-In or Sign in with Apple. This helps ensure your Purchases remain associated with a recoverable account. To verify a Purchase for support, you may be asked to provide your platform order or transaction ID.
• Pricing and Availability: Prices, offers, and the availability of Virtual Items may change at any time. Taxes may apply and are determined by the platform provider.

7. Game of Skill; No Gambling

The Service is a game of skill provided for entertainment only. It does not offer real-money gambling, betting, or wagering.

• Virtual Items, including coins and entry fees, have no real-world or cash value and cannot be won as, or redeemed for, real money or prizes.
• No Purchase is required to play. Purchases only provide Virtual Items for use within the Service.
• You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Service is lawful in your jurisdiction.

8. User Conduct

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Cheat, exploit bugs, or use unauthorised third-party software, bots, mods, hacks, or scripts
• Harass, abuse, threaten, or harm other users
• Upload or share content that is offensive, unlawful, or violates the rights of others
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to accounts, servers, or systems
• Buy, sell, or trade accounts or Virtual Items outside the Service
• Use the Service for any illegal or prohibited purpose

Violation of these rules may result in suspension or permanent termination of your account, and forfeiture of associated Virtual Items, without refund.

9. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, design, graphics, artwork, logos, trademarks, and content, is owned by or licensed to Kryn Studios and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Except for the limited license granted in these Terms, no rights are granted to you. You may not use our names, logos, or trademarks without our prior written consent.

10. Third-Party Services and Platforms

The Service relies on third-party services and platforms, including app stores, Firebase, and analytics and advertising providers. Your use of the Service may also be subject to the terms of those providers (for example, the Google Play Terms of Service or the Apple Media Services Terms). We are not responsible for the acts, omissions, or policies of third parties.

11. Ads, Analytics, and Future Monetization

The Service uses analytics tools (such as Google Analytics and Firebase) to improve performance and user experience. The Service does not currently display advertisements, but may do so in future updates.

We may introduce or change advertisements, subscriptions, or optional in-app purchases in future updates. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of such changes.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, if you violate these Terms or if required by law.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease, and any Virtual Items associated with your account may be forfeited without refund. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply.

13. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis.

We make no warranties, expressed or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or uninterrupted availability.

We do not guarantee that the Service will be error-free, secure, or continuously available, or that data, progress, or Virtual Items will be preserved.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kryn Studios shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, progress, virtual items, profits, or goodwill, arising from:

• Your use or inability to use the Service
• Unauthorised access to your account
• Loss of guest account data or unlinked purchases
• Bugs, crashes, or service interruptions
• Conduct of other users or third parties

Your sole remedy is to stop using the Service.

15. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Kryn Studios and its officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

16. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Subject to applicable law, the courts located in Morbi, Gujarat, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service.

17. General

• Entire Agreement: These Terms and the Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service.
• Severability: If any provision is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
• Waiver: Our failure to enforce any right or provision is not a waiver of that right or provision.
• Assignment: You may not assign these Terms. We may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
• Force Majeure: We are not liable for any failure or delay caused by events beyond our reasonable control.

18. Changes to These Terms

We may update or modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective once posted. Continued use of the Service after updates means you accept the revised Terms.
