Game Rules – Mindi

Last Updated: 2026-01-11

Mindi is a traditional trick-taking card game played with four players in two teams. These rules describe the gameplay used in Mindi World: Global Card Game.

1. Players and Teams

  • The game is played by 4 players.
  • Players form 2 teams, with partners sitting opposite each other.
  • Teammates cooperate to win tricks and collect Mindis.

2. Cards and Dealing

  • A standard 52-card deck is used.
  • All cards are dealt face down.
  • Each player receives 13 cards.

3. Objective of the Game

The objective is to collect more Mindi cards (10s) than the opposing team by winning tricks.

4. Card Ranking

Cards are ranked from highest to lowest:

Ace (A), King (K), Queen (Q), Jack (J), 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2

This ranking applies to all suits.

5. What is a Mindi? (IMPORTANT)

A Mindi is any card with rank 10.

There are 4 Mindis in one game:

10 of Hearts
10 of Spades
10 of Diamonds
10 of Clubs

Each Mindi counts as 1 Mindi.

6. Trump Suit

  • One suit is selected as the Trump suit.
  • Trump cards are stronger than cards of all other suits.
  • The method of selecting the Trump suit depends on the game mode and is shown in the game.

7. Playing a Trick

  • The player to the dealer’s left starts the first trick.
  • Players play one card each in clockwise order.
  • Players must follow the suit led if possible.
  • If a player does not have the suit led, they may play:
    • A Trump card, or
    • Any other card

8. Winning a Trick

  • If no Trump card is played, the highest card of the suit led wins the trick.
  • If one or more Trump cards are played, the highest Trump card wins the trick.
  • The winner of the trick collects the cards and leads the next trick.

9. Winning the Game

Primary Rule

The team that collects more Mindis (10 cards) wins the game.

Tie-Breaker Rule

If both teams collect the same number of Mindis:

  • The team that wins the highest trick wins the game.

What is the Highest Trick?

  • The trick that contains the highest-ranked winning card in the entire game.
  • Trump tricks are higher than non-Trump tricks.
  • Among Trump tricks, the trick with the highest Trump card is considered the highest.

(The game automatically determines the highest trick.)

10. End of the Game

  • The game ends after all 13 tricks are played.
  • Mindis collected by each team are counted.
  • The winner is decided using the rules above.

11. Fair Play Rules

Players must not:

  • Cheat, hack, or exploit bugs
  • Use unauthorized third-party software
  • Collude unfairly with other players

Violations may result in penalties, match cancellation, or account suspension.

12. Rule Variations

  • Some rules may vary depending on:
    • Online or offline mode
    • Private rooms or custom tables
  • Any variations will be clearly displayed inside the game.

13. Final Decision

In case of disputes:

  • The in-game rule engine’s decision is final.
  • KRYN Gaming reserves the right to update rules to ensure fair gameplay.
